NEW vs. BEST Video Game Chronicles

As our video game community continues to develop and we watch many of the growth patterns, we're considering movement and enhancements on the Video Game Chronicles portions of the site. Right now, each and every chronicle is ranked by our system and the top 4 ranking chronicles are displayed on the GoG Homepage. In an effort to get more exposure to those new chronicles, which act liked ranked blog entries, we plan to have the 4 NEWEST Chronicles being displayed on the homepage, instead of the top ranking entries.

The high ranking chronicles have become to stagnate, because the high ranking chronicles are the only ones that receive the traffic, so they're the main ones people are ranking and they don't move very much. We'll still connect the users from the homepage, to a "Top Ranked Chronicle" page where the top ranking chronicles are listed and we might modify the ranking system, so the top video game reviewers aren't so safe on the top of the list.

We hope this will encourage more video game reviews, cheats, strategy, and general conversations to be written AND to be commented on/ranked by the community of gamers!
