GameGavel.com is a Video Game Only auction site that gives people who were upset with eBay, a chance to "go somewhere else". The site was opened on February 24, 2008 and is pushing towards their goal of 1,000 verified sellers.As Jasen, the owner of this project said, "GameGavel.com is different than other auction sites. Right from the beginning it was created to be a site for gamers by gamers. Digital Press jumped on board first and allowed me to integrate their famous Rarity Guide into the website to allow sellers to give their potential buyers a lot of information on their potential purchases such as baseline value, scarcity, and interesting tidbits of information. I also recognized that any new site can be looked upon wearily due to lack of feedback, so I incorporated many other sites feedback system to be linked to the GameGavel.com feedback system . New users can easily point potential buyers to their established feedback on many other sites!"
