MLG Dallas was HUGE!

We're back from Texas and have to admit that Jet Set Studio and GatheringofGamers.com made a name for itself in the MLG community. Although it was a long drive because of the late decision to attend, we were able to enjoy the entire event and get a first hand look at what the Major League Gaming circuit is all about.

While were there, we got to meet a ton of great people and also networked with some of the top pro teams and even the MLG company itself. There is a lot of potential contacts and business connections that may come from this trip, so we're excited to continue developing the relationships we established at MLG Dallas.

We also did our best to highlight and cover the event, so we could share the experience with members of our unique and friendly community of gamers. In order to organize those people we met in Dallas and to bring all the tournament news, videos, and photos straight from the event, we established a GoG profile just for the event. Check that out and connect to it by clicking below...

Triggers Down took home the Pro Circuit Championship, but all the games were exciting and caliber of gamers that attended was very impressive. As we traveled back, Zach and Ben took some time to rank the event and the benefit we thought the trip had for our company. Overall, we scored the MLG and its staff with a 8.25/10. We ranked the benifit of Jet Set Studio being there a 6.25/10. Both ranks show that is was a successful trip, we learned alot for our own video game event management, and made some great connections within the professional gaming community.

Las Vegas is the next stop for MLG, as the National Championships are being played at the Hard Rock Hotel in the sin city of lights. We won't be attending this because of our Massive Inc. job in New York City, but we do plan to attend an event in 2009!

We have already started gaming with many of the gamers we met in Dallas and the GoG Party #9192 was pretty hot as well, so read about that event we hosted within the GoG Profile for the event as well.
Here are some additional photos from the weekend at MLG Dallas and stay close for more news, follow up stories, and video soon...
