As an intricate part of the our video game community, the GoG Forum has been one of the staples around www.GatheringofGamers.com. This is an area where members of the GoG come to share thoughts, questions, jokes, news, and insight within all of our video game worlds.Since going online in August of 2007, we've stuck to the same software version of phpBB for our active discussion board. It's not that we've wanted to wait this long to update, but with how integrated the GoG Forum is with the customized profile registration system, the task up updating is not trivial.
Nonetheless, this week we've embarked on the challenge and will be working to bring the GoG Forum up to speed again. It's not that anything was wrong before we started, but this enhanced version of phpBB will give us more capabilities than ever before and will also respond to many of the requests that have been coming from the community.
As we develop this enhanced area for GoG members to enjoy video game oriented conversation, please be patient while we've taken down the GoG Forum for maintenance. We hope to have the new version online within 24-48 hours.
