"JSS VGEM TOUR" Ends

If you've follow (or should we say "like") the Jet Set Studio Facebook Page, it's likely you've seen our attempt to showcase the numerous events our company has managed since 2007.

We went with an overwhelming approach to sharing all the neat gaming events we've developed, by presenting the best 8 photos from each event and uploading one event per day. Much more in-depth coverage of each event is available on GatheringofGamers.com event profiles and our GoG Video Game Event Blog, but this was a neat way to summarize all the places we've been.

The cool thing about this special Video Game Event Management photo album, was that each photo was uploaded individually. So during the daily "LIVE UPLOAD", we were creating discussion around each photo and hopefully making people more aware of the unique event management services Jet Set Studio provides.

We began this process on August 19th, 2010 and uploaded events almost every day until just yesterday, September 17th, 2010. That's a lot of events!

Along with the 8-photo collections, each Friday we uploaded any highlight videos we had on file for the events we showcased that week. This was a cool way of bringing the week to a close and giving users something to enjoy over the weekends.

Overall, this campaign that spanned across Facebook.com, Twitter.com, and GatheringofGamers.com was a success. It may have confused people, because it really is overwhelming to think about all we've done since 2007...but this was the point. To finish the tour yesterday, we showcased the Halo Reach Midnight Release LAN that we hosted just this week, and closed the album for now.

Naturally, we'll continue to develop, host, and mange gaming events around the country and will add these events into this special VGEM album, but for now, the #JSS VGEM TOUR has ended.
